The Apple Ipad Tablet’s screen is glass-topped, fingerprint resistant, LED-backlit, 9.7-inches with capacitive touch that uses IPS (which stands for in-plane switching) expertise for excellent presentation from all angles. The highest screen resolution is 1,024×768 pixels. While the video output is accessible via a dock adapter, although HDMI is not included, and the output resolution is controlled to 480p. Underneath the screen, there rests a home button that appears and acts precisely like the button that originated on the iPhone and iPod Touch layouts.
Lusterless aluminum surrounds the reverse and sides of the iPad Tablet, becoming narrower a tad about the perimeter. The unibody Macbooks possess an aluminum finish that gives off the same look and feel. Dissimilar to the shiny chrome that the iPod has or sleek plastic on the iPhone, the iPad’s reverse side will be less prone to display fingerprints and scuffing. Nevertheless, reminiscent of all Apple products before it, don’t be surprised to see a multitude of gear and screen protectors for the device as it debuts sometime in April 2010.
If you have used an iPhone before, you will recognize most of the keys, controls, and ports surrounding the periphery of the iPad. A 30-pin dock connector is located on the base, alongside a diminutive incorporated speaker; a volume rocker knob and mute switch can be found on the right side, while a screen lock, headphone jack, and a pinhole microphone are located on the top.
On the inside, there will be a 1GHz A4 processor that Apple built itself, 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, and a compass. The battery life of the device comes in at a good 10 hours. Three different versions will be available: 16GB ($499), 32GB ($599), and 64GB ($699). A procession of iPad Tablets that boast 3G wireless data support (microSIM) will be coming out in May, offering the same capacity range, except each of the 3G devices will cost approximately $130 more. There are already tons of iPad accessories on the market as well such as iPad sleeves and bags.
