Canon Digital Camera Memory Cards
There really isn’t any specific Canon digital camera memory cards, but the Canon cameras do typically take one of two kinds of cards. The SD digital camera memory cards that I mentioned above or if it’s one of the higher end Canon cameras like the Canon 5D than it will take the Compact Flash style. Both types of memory cards are very good and I can’t really recommend one brand over another. Make sure you watch to see how fast the write speed is though. That term refers to how fast the camera can actually write data (photos) to the card. If it’s a slower card you will be waiting before you can take another series of photos.
Here is a list of Canon’s current like of EOS digital SLR cameras.

Memory cards for digital cameras are no different than any other memory card. They can be swapped between any camera that takes that type of card. With camera’s being developed and released with larger sensors and more megapixels it’s important to get a card big enough to take a decent amount of photos before you’ll have to put the memory card for digital camera into your computer and clear the card off. Because the cost has dropped so much in recent years it’s a good idea to get a card that is at least 8GB. Digital camera memory cards can be found at many online retailers for under $20.
