Lenovo S10-3t is the first multi-touch enabled Tablet PC from Lenovo. S10-3t is available not only available in different attractive catchy colors but also the best lightweight laptopcurrently available.
Design and features:
This IdeaPad can also be used as an advanced iPad as it supports the feature of writing on the screen with a digital light pen. The display also has multi-touch facility. The LCD panel is black in color and the keyboard is lightweight. It is comfortable to rotate the screen in either direction. Lenovo’s Natural Touch software can be activated by using the launch button. There is a button to rotate the picture on the screen.
A mute button is present on the left side above the keyboard. To avoid activating any option unknowingly, there is a lock switch that will lock all the buttons above the keyboard. Near the lock switch, there are Webcam and power button. The keyboard is specially designed in such a way that no key will be shrunken. The OS Windows 7 in S10-3t offers a touch keyboard. The finger touches can be quickly and accurately recognized. On the physical keyboard there is a tiny touch pad which will facilitate the navigation on the screen. There is a Keyboard icon that helps to enlarge the text which was typed on the screen. For example, if a web address in the address bar of IE is typed, the address will be enlarged by clicking Keyboard icon.
Specifications:
This laptop tablet mini consists of AtomN470 processor with 1.83 GHz speed. S10-3Y models are available with different and flexible battery setup – 4-cell battery PC which will last for 3 hours and 8-cell battery PC which will last for 7 hours. The dimension of the table PC is 11 X 6.8 x 0.8 inch. It is very comfortable to keep on the lap or on a table.
The Good:
The Flash memory and a slot for memory card are added attractive features of S10-3t. The multi tasking process is handled efficiently. In addition to all these features it is portable and very light, weighting 2.8 pounds.
The Bad:
Users may feel uncomfortable while using space bar as it is little small and shallow. The space bar is specially designed smaller to enable comfortably typing. Though the touchpad is narrow and difficult to select or scroll, the narrow pattern gives the tablet PC a handy and slimy look.
