If you want to connect a network fax machines in the office, you might think that it is a difficult task. First, you should restart your computer. Ensure that the network in the office is working properly and does not have any hitches. Thereafter, it is essential that you plug all the cords of the fax machine into the computer appropriately so that they are ready for use.

Thereafter, after connecting the fax machine to the computer, prepare or install any software that may be associated with that particular model.

In your computer, go to the control panel and then select the fax machine settings. Generally, a manufacturers name will be indicated under the fax icon.

Click on the “connections” button or you can also click on the “connect to network” button.  This normally starts the program that is meant to guide you on the connecting process of the fax machine to your office’s network.

Complete the whole set up and then close the program. Keep in mind that that there are particular models that will slightly differ on how they actually work with a computer. In case of an error or any complications, you should consult the tech-support representative from the manufacturer of that particular model.

Close all programs and you are ready to test the network fax machine! If you can’t find the machine on the network, most modern operating systems have ‘wizards’ which will allow you to set up sharing for printers and similar devices, so this would be a good step to take if you are having problems accessing the machine.
