Smallest bluetooth headset: Is The Race Worth It?

Just sitting on my sofa last night I was thinking about my current bluetooh headset that I use every day and how it can be better. So I got to thinking about this topic and about what’s more important when you purchase a wireless headset.

The idea of a bluetooth headset is rather nice: having a wireless device that allows you to speak without taking out your handset from its pocket and without needing to hold it in hand is a life saver (literally if you drive) and that’s why people use them.

There’s completely another story when you talk about looks. 99% of people using a bluetooth headset will tell you they look silly with it, so it’s normal for everyone to want a smaller headset but like with any choice there’s a price to pay for the priviledge: battery life, grip and usually low tech noise reduction. If you can live with those facts then you might start looking for your perfect smallest bluetooth headset, but don’t expect too much.

That doesn’t necessarly means you can’t find a decent small bluetooth headset to choose from, but usually this translates to having less to choose from. What this doesn’t say is that usually small headsets are seen as designer options and are produced with style in mind, from the beginning. Just check out a few models and you’ll see all small bluetooth headsets come with special carrying cases, with chargers matching the headset (and can be transported as one item).

So, the verdict: would you get a small bluetooth headset or stick with an ugly looking or huge one? I would definitely choose the first option. It would go well as any of the
