A printer is a machine that is capable of outputting computer generated documents, images or any of the kind. It is capable of producing documents either in black or white or in colour. Many companies like HP and Canon are producing top of the line printers for the market since the demand for such devices has increased over the years. More innovations are being done every year, ensuring people brand new products to try.

Many years ago, the printers that were produced were big and bulky and had poor resolution. They were also expensive since they were not widely produced. Due to their size, it was a bit difficult for people to move them about. Usually, one had to ask the help of other people or had to use some sort of transportation medium just to be able to do the job. They also occupied a lot of space in a room, thus preventing the occupant of the place to add additional, much needed items like file cabinets or drawers. Since they had poor resolution, print outs usually were not that good. Sometimes, one has to repeat the printing process just to get better results.

Thanks to the arrival of technological innovations, such constraints on the printer were finally solved. Soon enough, many electronic companies were producing smaller and more compact printers. Others have even produced portable printers that could be used virtually anywhere and anytime you want. Whether it is portable or not, modern day printers have an obvious edge compared to their primitive predecessors. Even though they have been downsized, they have been developed to have better printing qualities. That is why many people nowadays are acquiring portable printers.

There are many brands/models of printers available in the market. Examples of them are HP and Canon mobile printers. You could find reviews about them in the internet and in tech magazines. You could also just visit a local electronic store and ask for the latest HP or Canon mobile printers or any other model of printer that you have in mind.
