I love convenience and simplicity. As I get older I work on creating a simple life and overall uncomplicated things. I love electronic gadgets and I love photography. It is not often that you can combine a photography gadget with simplicity. Kodak has manged to do it with their line of Z cameras such as the Kodak Zi6 and the Kodak Zi8. I bought a Kodak Zi6 about 2 years ago when the were introduced. Flip cameras were really becoming popular back then and everywhere you looked online, someone was posting flip camera videos. I saw them everywhere, especially on social networking sites. I went out and bought one and immediately fell in love with it. To this day I rarely leave home without it much like my cell phone. I have posted over 200 videos online since I bought mine. My family loves my videos and I post most of them to Youtube.
I’m really jazzed up now since Kodak has recently announced that they will soon be releasing the new Kodak Playtouch Video Camera. This new flip camera is packed with features that are uncomplicated and easy. One of the best features I have seen so far is that there will be easy uploads to social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter. That means you can shoot a video, hit a button and sit back and watch your video appear on Youtube or Facebook in a matter of minutes. Now that is what I’m talking about. Another feature that will definitely sell this camera is the ability to use a wireless microphone with it. The Kodak Playtouch has a microphone input. I like to do interview type videos with my family and sometimes the audio isn’t as good as it should be, Most people will not watch a video with bad audio. I will not have to worry about that from now on. I intend to use the Kodak Playtouch to interview my Grandfather as soon as I get it.
